Heiress/fashion icon Daphne Guinness raised eyebrows this week with her comments on style over comfort. Her diet of champions: Red Bill and Ensure. The haute couture addict told the New Yorker that she would not eat until she was dead.In a New Yorker feature Guinness was quoted telling her personal assistant that if she ate she could not work. Her personal assistant, Teresa Alfonso allegedly tried to get her to eat some pasta that was prepared for the production team. " I'll eat when I'm dead," she was quoted saying.The New Yorker also revealed that the artist got through the shoot consuming Red Bull and other nutrition shakes.
Meanwhile, the pieces from the wardrobe of the Guinness Heiress are being exhibited at The Museum at FIT, and will run through to Jan.7. The artist revealed that she has 2,500 pieces in her wardrobe as well as 450 pairs of shoes, 70 hats and 200 handbags."She is one of the - if not the - most stylish women living," designer and film director Tom Ford said of Daphne Guinness.
